The first Mass at Our Lady of Victory
Church was celebrated in the present building on December 8,
1985, with Fr. Ottonnello officiating at the request of the
SSPX's USA District Superior, Fr. Laisney. 55 faithful
attended at that time.
Soon afterwards in 1986, Fr. Post began to
serve the Las Vegas chapel every weekend. Desiring to
have a resident priest, the parish had an independent priest
for a short time, but eventually decided to have the priests
of the SSPX serve them again on a weekend circuit.
Currently, the parish has 150 faithful regularly attending. |
