It is
interesting that Catholic News Service (the media
outlet for the United States Bishops' Conference),
would travel to Switzerland to interview Bishop Fellay.
This indicates the growing importance of the SSPX's
recognition for the whole Church. Following this
interview CNS also published two articles in
conjunction with the video.
It should also be noted that Bishop Fellay's lengthy
interview has been cut per CNS's editorial criteria
and only a few points are covered due to its
compression to just under 6 minutes.

Fr. Rostand: "I would like to ask you to double
your efforts in the
Rosary Crusade, which will end on Pentecost Sunday (May 27),
keeping in mind the striking results of the previous ones. I wish also to
solicit your generosity in offering a novena to the Holy Ghost..."

From DICI: sources closest to the
case read at DICI >
The Roman press agency I.Media announced on May 6,
2012, that according to “Vatican sources close to the
case”, Benedict XVI’s decision concerning the Society of
St. Pius X will be known by the end of May, after the
Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith studies the
clarified response that Bishop Bernard Fellay made on April
17 to the “doctrinal preamble” submitted to him by Cardinal
William Levada on September 14, 2011.
The
Rosary Crusade launched by the Superior
General of the Society of St. Pius X on Easter 2011 will end
on Pentecost 2012, May 27. This prayer campaign has now been
reinforced by the District Superior of the United States,
Fr. Arnaud Rostand, who asked his faithful to add on to the
Rosary
a novena to the Holy Ghost. “An
entirely displaced attempt to get the highest bid in matters
of piety!” diplomats and politicians will say. “A
realism perfectly appropriate to the circumstances,” the
priests and faithful attached to Tradition will retort. And
they are right, for by prayer, they are directly addressing
the sources closest to the case. Fr. Alain Lorans

In the face of heresy: St. Basil's "economy of silence" The
example of St. Basil shows that, even in a doctrinal crisis of
the Church, the steadfast profession and defense of the Faith is
not incompatible with a prudential attitude, seeking an
accommodation with those who are in error - a practical,
realistic approach, aimed at bringing them back to orthodoxy,
while preserving entrusted souls...
